The quality of "brake pads" depends mainly on the friction coefficient and impact strength of the parts themselves.
It is understood that when an automobile brakes at high speeds in an emergency, the friction coefficient is too low to cause brake insensitivity; if the coefficient of friction is too high, lock-up phenomenon will occur, causing the vehicle to slip and reverse, posing a serious threat to traffic safety.
