Vertical cement mill

The MPS vertical cement mill belongs to the roller type disc mill. It is a new type of equipment that was heavily manufactured in December 1985 from the introduction of all the design, manufacture and inspection technologies of eight types of products from Pfeiffer. The daily production capacity of the equipment is 700t, 1000t and 2000t cement plants.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view showing the structure of the mill. The middle part of the mill is provided with three fixed grinding rolls which are hydraulically tensioned and installed obliquely, and a rotating grinding disc driven by a planetary gear reduction box is arranged under the roller. The material to be ground is fed onto the grinding disc by a feed port provided on the side wall of the casing, and the material is ground by the weight of the roller and the pressure of the tensioning system. The machine is sealed and can be operated with positive or negative pressure. There is a ring of apertures around the grinding disc through which the airflow moves upwards to deliver the ground material to the upper classifier. The classifier is of the rotary impeller type, the fine particles can be discharged from the upper part by the blades, and the coarse particles are retained by the blades and returned to the grinding zone. For wet materials, hot air can be used to dry the material to a moisture content of less than 0.5%.
The vertical cement mill has the advantages of small volume, light weight, small footprint, low power consumption, long life of wearing parts, and may replace the traditional tube mill. Compared with the tube mill, the machine has other advantages: the material size of the grinding material can reach 200mm, and the second stage crushing can be eliminated; the moisture of the material is allowed to be 20%; the capital investment is lower; the noise is smaller; the dust is not increased. In this case, the direct operation can be quickly changed to a composite operation with a preheater; in the drying and grinding process, the low temperature gas from the suspension preheater can be comprehensively utilized.
The technical performance of the vertical cement mill is shown in Table 2, and the outline and installation dimensions are shown in Figure 2 and Table 1, respectively.
