AVEVA newly developed automatic sheet metal cutting module

AVEVA UK has announced the development of AVEVA Automated Plate Nesting, which will be integrated into the company's AVEVA Hull Detailed DesignTM software. The module effectively cuts the steel plate to maximize material utilization and significantly reduce the proportion of scrap.
Shipyards can save up to 13% of raw materials compared to semi-automated cutting modules or third-party software. The comparison test proves that the AVEVA automatic sheet set module has the best tailoring effect. In addition, the module makes it easier to set up the work, which saves a lot of labor costs in the production process.
