Tower Southwest Company knows how to solve the problem of urea lumping

PetroChina Tarim Oilfield Tower Southwest Company recently held its 2011 QC results announcement. The meeting revealed that the company's urea agglomerate rate has dropped to 0.0004% in 2011, setting a record high.

In order to solve the urea agglomeration problem, Tazhong Southwest established a quality improvement QC team in conjunction with various units and departments in March 2010. The QC team analyzed production, transportation and warehousing, and discussed various causes of agglomeration of urea, and identified 15 factors. At the same time, from the investigation of agglomerated urea carried out in the market in recent years, it was found that most of the production of agglomerated urea was from July to September. During this time, the temperature is relatively high, and the urea packaging temperature is relatively high, indicating that urea agglomeration has a great relationship with high temperature.

The QC team investigated and confirmed 15 factors causing urea agglomeration one by one. The final cause of urea agglomeration was identified by five items: unqualified urea was not completely segregated; evaporative separator separation was poor; urine pipeline jacketed steam Endoleak; summer urea particle packaging temperature is high; urea outdoor storage environment is poor. For these five reasons, the quality improvement QC team developed countermeasures one by one. Such as the introduction of isolation system and substandard urea sampling system. Under normal production conditions in summer, the produced urea is allowed to leave the factory after being placed for 48 hours.
