Maintenance-free and lubrication-free linear guide

Unlike traditional ball bearing systems, the drylin® linear plain bearing linear guide uses a sliding element made of igus® high-performance engineering plastic for smooth running for optimum wear resistance and minimum coefficient of friction. This allows for lubrication-free and maintenance-free dry running. As a result, maintenance time is greatly reduced, saving costs due to downtime. Applications are also resistant to grease and oil contamination, and do not adhere to dirt and dust particles. Remove foreign matter from the contact surface by motion. Non-hardened shafts, even non-metallic mating materials, can be used due to the large contact surface and low surface pressure.

Unlike conventional ball bearings, the use of a drylin® linear plain bearing linear guide is independent of the stroke length and does not set any conditions for the minimum stroke length. Linear systems are not sensitive to effects such as dirt, water, chemicals, heat or shock.

Drylin® T linear plain bearing guide

The drylin® T linear plain bearing guides are the same size as conventional ball bearing guides. They are available in seven mounting sizes - users can choose from three different slider options: manual or automatic adjustable clearance or a very durable heavy version. The sliding element is fixed in the housing, especially when it is pulled down from the rail. The drylin® T linear plain bearing slide guide can withstand loads up to 14,000 N and has a high service life (up to 50,000 km at the right load with the highest load) and is extremely dust-resistant.

Drylin® W linear plain bearing guide

In a comprehensive modular system, the drylin® W linear plain bearing guide offers the largest diversity of drylin® linear plain bearing series. This series of linear guides combines the modularity of other drylin® linear plain bearing series to achieve a very simple assembly while maximizing installation space utilization. More than 25 different rail designs ensure maximum design freedom. Drylin® linear slide hybrid roller bearings allow for very low driving forces, with single or double rollers in the bearings. They are attached to the rails - lateral and cluttering forces are easily absorbed by the sliding elements.
