The design speed was 120 kilometers per hour and the roadbed was widened. 42 meters, project approval budget of 9.04 billion yuan, duration of 3 years. This means that the Hangzhou-Jinshan Expressway Hangjin Section will become the third 8-lane expressway in Zhejiang after the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway and the Jiaxing-Xiamen Cross-river Passage.
As a major artery in the middle and western Zhejiang Province, the traffic volume of the Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou Expressway has grown rapidly and the congestion has been serious, making the road widening and expansion urgent. In particular, the Xinling tunnel section was dubbed by the passing driver as "Sadheart" because of constant congestion. At present, the expansion of the Xinling tunnel section as an emergency project has been fully implemented, and the Hangzhou-Kiming line relocation framework agreement has also been signed.
