Liao genuinely hopes that people in the industry will further establish an exchange platform for production, learning and research, increase the development of basic resin, strengthen the research on modification, and enhance the independent innovation capability of China's degradable plastics. He also reminded that, while learning the experience of advanced countries, research and innovation of degradable plastics should be combined with national conditions to avoid the exclusivity of technology routes.
It is understood that along with the gradual establishment of the concept of green environmental protection, China's degradable plastics have developed rapidly in recent years. In 2006, the output of biodegradable plastics alone reached 30,000 tons, and it is expected that by 2010, the production capacity will reach more than 100,000 tons. The demand will be More than 200,000 tons. At present, green plastics and degradable plastics have been widely used in Olympic venues. With the development of the plastics industry, the future application of degradable plastics in packaging materials will be promising.
