On November 5, Changan Suzuki announced its three new car plans, of which the S.CROSS frontier will be released at the Guangzhou Auto Show and will be available in late December; the production version of the Authentics will be introduced at the end of 2014; it has already been released at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The iV-4 concept car is planned to be made by Changan Suzuki in 2015. Changan Suzuki's domestically-made S-CROSS has officially been named S.CROSS front. The length and breadth of the vehicle are 4300/1765/1585mm, and the wheelbase is 2600mm. It is a compact SUV. The official stated that in the future, the car will compete with compact SUVs such as Mitsubishi Jin Hyun and Nissan Qashqai, as well as small SUVs such as Buick Enkel and Ford Wing.
In terms of configuration, the S.CROSS front ends are all equipped with a keyless entry/one-button start system, side curtains and side airbags, as well as an ESP body dynamic stability system and an HCC ramp start assist system. In addition, S.CROSS has a panoramic sunroof, xenon headlamps (with automatic cleaning device), gear shift paddles, cruise control, reverse video, DVD entertainment systems.
