Cadillac's sales exceeded 100,000 in the first eight months of the year and surged 78% year-on-year

SAIC General Motors announced the latest sales data of Cadillac. In August, it achieved sales of 15,707 vehicles, an increase of 78.3% year-on-year; 108,512 vehicles were sold in January-August. Sales of SUV-XT5 reached 39,670 units in January-August, a surge of 174.2% year-on-year, making Cadillac the hottest model.

In 2017, the overall sales growth of the Chinese auto market slowed down. Cadillac was not affected by the big background and made great strides. In August of this year, Cadillac sales reached 15,707 vehicles, an increase of 78.3% year-on-year, achieving double-digit growth for 18 consecutive months in China; sales from January to August totaled more than 100,000 units, reaching 108,512 units, an increase of 69.1% year-on-year. Completed 93% of sales last year.

Cadillac has a total of four models of XTS, CT6, ATS-L and XT5 in China, covering the field of cars and SUVs. From January to August, sales of the XT5 reached 39,670 units, a 17% increase year-on-year, becoming the most popular Cadillac model; the ATS-L sold 34,904 units, an increase of 101.8% year-on-year, and won the crown of the Cadillac hot-selling sedan.
