Recently, the German BMW Group is planning to acquire a 2% stake in Chargemaster, a supplier of electric vehicle charging stations in the UK. Chargemaster designs, produces and markets electric vehicle charging stations for residential, commercial and public use, and provides software, installation and maintenance services. In 2012, the company supplied 2,800 charging stations and generated 3.6 million pounds in revenue. The company recently announced that it plans to list on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) for financing expansion.
